CONVERSATZION SERPENTINATA

It is my humble belief that humanity is engaged, and has been engaged from its hypothetical beginning, in a self reflexive conversation with itself. The only thing that is certain about the conversation is that it is Dynamic in its ability to change. It is a conversation which has meaning and value, even if those qualities are dynamic and subject to change. It is a conversation which exists along the path of Time. It is a conversation which is infinite, and therefore has no beginning, and no end. It is a conversation which is stochastically self similar at varying scales. The conversational structure is also infinitely complex. It is multi-dimensional. The conversation is uniquely human. It is a conversation which can be observed at any infinitely precise moment along the path of Time. It can also be observed at any of its infinite number of scales. The conversation can be observed at any of its varying degrees of complexity (Manifolds). It can be observed in any of its infinite number of dimensions. It can be observed from any perspective that has ever, or will ever exist. And it can be observed, and analyzed using all, or any, of the means just mentioned. The conversation is however, ultimately unknowable, because our grasp of it will grow progressively dim when looking at it in increasing immensity, and will grow progressively obscure when looking at it in decreasing minuteness. It is everything and nothing. It is a contradiction. It is a conversation which defies logic, and can therefore never be defined with any certainty. It seems to be the definition of-- Sublime.
